2025 Update - Back after 2 months
Upcoming plans for 2025 with the Neural Bits Newsletter.
Hey everyone,
Wish you all a late Happy New Year! :) 🎉
First, I want to thank every reader and new subscriber of the Neural Bits Newsletter - for me that shows there’s a growing interest in what I share!
I appreciate each one of you! 🙏
Short Recap
The last few months have been quite busy. I’ve been caught up between traveling for work, taking on a new role as an ML Team Lead for ML Platform Engineering, moving into a new apartment, spending time with my family, and refreshing my priorities.
All these changes hit the content creation roadmap I had in mind for the end of the year - and I haven’t posted any articles in the meantime.
As I’m slowly clearing up my calendar, I’m getting back in line with my plans to help you grow as an AI/ML Engineer.
Purpose of this Newsletter
I started Neural Bits in August 2024 with a single purpose in mind—to share free practical insights on how to design, build, and deploy real AI/ML systems in production.
I ground everything that I share on real industry expertise.
I think that many resources share surface news on AI with less focus on practical substance. Very few share actual details that an ML Engineer should know as part of his role in a project or company, be it junior or senior.
About Me
I started my career as a Software Engineer, back in 2016.
I’ve deployed Vision AI solutions on non-humanoid robots, built autonomous driving AI prototypes for BMW, published an 🔗 ML Research paper in 2020, completed over 15 ML freelance projects, contributed to open-source free courses, and have been working on complex end-to-end ML systems for the past 4 years.
I ground every article I write on real industry experience, aiming to help others learn effectively, and become and improve as AI/ML Engineers.
Long-term Vision
My long-term vision for Neural Bits is to build it as an industry-relevant resource where I share tips, tutorials, and key details that will point you to the right learning path to become or improve as an ML Engineer.
💡 My main focus is around Visual AI Deep Learning Systems, and end-to-end MLOps, from data preparation until deployment and monitoring.
This sector is quite scarce in resources compared to the multitude of RAGs, Chatbots, finetuning LLMs, or text-only data engineering pipelines available out there.
So you’re in the right spot to learn and apply ML in production!
Ending Note
On an ending note, I want to thank you once again for being a subscriber even though the last 2 months this newsletter has been inactive.
I plan to return to the default schedule of 1 article per week on Tuesdays at 9 AM CET, although I might move the posting time to another day based on the feedback I receive.
What’s Next
For the past few days, I’ve been working on a “2025 Computer Vision Roadmap” It will be a long article, that explains everything you must know about VisionAI, with code, animations, and up-to-date references in APA7 format, see the Table of Contents attached below.
I’m adding the final touches and plan to publish it the next week’s edition.
Stay Tuned! Have a great week!
Special thanks to Miguel Otero Pedrido (@TheNeuralMaze) and Shantanu Ladhwe (@JamWithAI), two fellow creators in the AI/ML space whom I’ve met recently, for recommending The Neural Bits Newsletter on their publications! 🚀
If you’re not subscribed to their newsletters, I highly recommend you do!

Super excited to see your upcoming work! 🤩
Good to have you back!!!!! 😍
